I have no problem making this process work via a global variable or a global application property ... I was just hoping there was a cleaner way to implement what one might effectively call a "OLEDragDropSource" property using a native OLEDragDrop PEM or SYS() function.

Apparently not (even checked your What's New in VFP 9 book!)
