So if we must have taxes, then income taxes are typically not regressive. If I were king for a day, there would be only be a personal income tax. However, I would structure it so a percentage of the value of any luxuries (boats, yachts, houses) you enjoy as a corporate suit in lieu of a "salaried" income would count as your income.
