>>So I was sitting around one day, talking to some folks, and in the process I decided there should be a word for any element of what we consider our conscious experience. There is already a word for any sensation, vision, or audition called "qualia" but what I wanted goes deeper than that. It would be include any meaning, idea, knowledge, or belief that you have understand, and any emotion that you feel.

What you understand is a zene.
But a zene is a little broader than that. Unless you are of the opinion that "what you understand" includes "what you observe" and "what you feel", but I'm not sure that's a widely accepted usage of the word "understand".
