Title:
Set Refresh, Private Datasessions, Pessimistic, Win NT
1. WinNT - best settings for SET REFRESH and why.
2. The app uses pessimistic buffering but the lock is obtained
immediately after retrieval (RLOCK()) rather than waiting for
an actual edit to occur. This possible locked status is
indicated to any other user that might select that specific
record. If that record is locked, I disable the controls
on the form displaying the locked record so no possible
data edits can occur. Does anyone know if SET REFRESH will
still update these controls? This is in a Private Datasession.
