At our last Visual Studio user's group meeting the topic in a nutshell was "How to make a .Net app talk to a Java app."
During the night a new Acronym was introduced to us. JaNet. Yes you probably guessed it, it means Java to .Net. I dont remember to what that JaNet is tied, framework or whatever. That part is not important.
Imagine the scene. In your department there is a project to make such an interaction between Java and .Net apps.
During lunchtime you and other folks working on that project decide to go eat to the local chinese buffet. While getting food in your plate you tell one of your co-worker
"I think there's no way out of it. We'll really have to exploit Janet to the maximum in that project"
or else
"Janet and Soap don't go together" and then you laugh a lot about it (because you had some problems in your project) but now everything is allright so you can really laugh about it.
Imagine the reactions of others when they hear you <vbg>
Perhaps between us (geeks and nerds) Janet sounds nice but should'nt they have added a "V" to the "Ja" so instead of Janet we'd have JavNet.
