I know usb isn't 100% ok for win98 but i tought that like an usb connection for printing works faster to print than a parallel cable that maybe a usb cable would be faster also for networking. But you could have a very good point there.

I'll check it out with a parallel cable.

You could have a point also with these macro's. But i find it strange that when i unplug the laptop that word bugs on opening the slow docs. That means also that when i put the docs on another computer without internet word will also bug.

Never had these 2 problems....

Anyway i'll check these things....
