Firstly - when I import the file from MS Access it get imported as memo because the size is greater than 254 in access, I cannot change this size in MS Access.

The field can be 20 long but as soon as I import a field that is greater than 254 Foxpro changes it to a memo field.

The only way I can access the MS Access DB is through a view, I don't need to update the MS Access DB I just need to extract the data out of it and put it into a foxpro table.

Any suggestions
