Holy cow! I forgot that I made the original post, which was in May of last year.

At the time, a client was seriously looking at moving from VFP to Java. My knowledge of Java and the available tools was very limited, so at the very least I wanted to become more familiar.

But their direction changed, so it became a non-issue.
