I've been and have spoken at several DevTeachs and I've also attended TechEd a few times.

If you're after training and in depth development topics, DevTeach is likely to be a better choice. TechEd is a huge conference and while there are plenty of good sessions, many of the sessions I've seen at TechEd were watered down quite a bit and often too wide audience geared. You have to really search out the detailed technical sessions.

TechEd is good for networking, meeting lots of people in the industry, but for session content I was disappointed for the most part the couple of times I went. Last year at DevTeach I didn't enough time to see all the sessions I wanted to see...

And you can't beat the value compared to TechEd <g>...
