Hi Mark :)
It will be all happening on one of server machines.
I haven't used remote views / ODBC setups for years now, so I will hv to look up to my old and some new stuff, but I will manage.
Project is quiet challenging :)
To effectively report MERGED content of two completelly different databases
(VFP<>ORACLE) with different table structures and coding standards.
Only similarity between them is in content!

Thks++++
Sergio

>Just make sure the DSN you create to use on your machine is a name that is acceptible to your customer because they will have to use the same name for the DSN they create on each of their workstations. Unless of course you design your APP to look for the name of the DSN to use in either a text file, the registry or a configuration table.

>>Oracle Client software can connect to mother database via an open IP address. If this works, then I should be able to setup ODBC source (DSN)

>>Anyways I will know more detalis after meeting them at their site later today.
