I'm sure that it won't be as easy as that. If he has to pay taxes to one place then he won't have to pay to the place he paid originally. So I guess that the next legal dispute would look like "Who gets the taxes?".

Tennessee or New York? Perhaps they'll decide to split the taxes? Nahh I'm sure the politicians will search long and hard so things get extremely complicated for telecommuters.

But as I read this I thought about another thing. What about outsourcing. Will the Indians have to pay it too. I mean there must be a lot of telecommuting between U.S.A. and India for example. Hmmm
