TIOBE Programming Community Index for April 2005 listed Visual FoxPro at position 13

Tiobe.com site that publishes monthly index indicating the popularity of different programming languages listed Visual FoxPro at position 13, ahead of VB.NET. This is amazing growth, considering that in December 2005 Visual FoxPro was listed at position 20 and in April 2005 at position 43. Remember, that Tiobe uses the search engines to calculate the ratings basing them on number of references. http://www.tiobe.com/tpci.htm

Russian VFP Developer Conference 2006

Yet another VFP Developer Conference - Ufa, 2006 will be held on May 24th to the 27th, 2006. It will be happening at Ufa city, Bashkortostan - the sovereign republic within the Russian Federation. New version of Visual ProMatrix Enterprise framework released
