If you a) check everything in from 7 and b) move away the pjx/t/m and c) rejoin the project from VFP9, you should see an end to your problem.

Using SourceOffSite, I was actually able to edit the location of the srcsafe.ini in the SCC memofield in the first record in the project and have it work recently, when moving SOS servers -- this was something entirely new, as I had never had any luck doing it previously. This was in VFP8, fwiw. But rejoining will work for sure.
