Thanks for your response. My opinion on your last statement is different:

First, I'm guessing the UT management doesn't have a problem with it, since these types of posts have occured multiple times.

I do believe VFP people who are getting involved in .NET may still find these posts helpful, even if they're posted on the VFP forum. I know for a fact that some UT 'newbies' only believed the UT had forums for Fox and SQL Server. As some of the material discusses integration of the two technologies, I think the posts are topical.

Let me ask this question (not directed at you, just in general): if it were a post regarding the use of SQL Server as a back-end, do you think we'd be seeing the same reactions? My point is that negative biases exist regarding .NET and those who teach it are so strong, that emotion usually drives the direction of the discussion.
