If you believe that, then say it in a constructive manner. I don't intend to stifle discussion. In fact, I've said that getting/giving .NET training (or Delphi or Python or whatever) is fine, but the way that Kevin and Marcus have gone about marketing their training has irritated people and I finally felt like saying something. It's as if they specifically want to hasten the demise of a language that was good to them and that still is 100% valid as a development tool for powerful desktop and web-based apps. When you add on Kevin's negative comments at conferences, it seems that he's the one that wants to not only stifle discussion, he wants to stifle VFP completely.
