I didn't. For security reasons the servers are behind a firewall. The client runs the program that creates the batch. This workstation does not have easy access to DTS. We have a computer center manned 24x7. It was much simpler at the time to add a another task to their job to have them run this DTS at a specific time.

Sergey already gave you the same link I would have pointed you too. DTS is a COM object and can be automated.
