I tried changing the structure of an autocomplete table so that the "user" memo field was converted to a char field of the same name. As a result, autocomplete functionality was disabled until I updated the automcomplete's structure and changed the "user" field back to a memo field.

I don't need the user memo field and I don't want the separate *.FPT memo file created to support the "user" memo field. In other words, I would like to my autocomplete table to be a standalone single file DBF.

Any ideas on whether this is possible or not?
