Hi Malcolm,

>Any thoughts on how I might disable the error reporting system?

VFP uses Dr. Watson (DWxx.EXE). I though VFP 9 is using DW20.EXE, but the program folder still contains a copy of DW15.EXE. You can delete DW15.EXE to prevent VFP using it. For DW20.EXE there is a AER_1033.ADM on the Office 2003 CD that disable error reporting. I'd think that it's a global setting and not specific to Office (http://www.sanx.org/tipShow.asp?articleRef=226). To be completely sure, you could remove C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DW from the machine. I'm not sure, though, whether Windows attempts to repair this directory.
