Hi Christof,

I always wondered what that DW15 app was :)

Here's what I found in vfp9r.dll (searching on dw15 and dw20) with chr(0) replaced with spaces:

"dw15 .exe Microsoft\ErrorReporting\DW % s"

Does this provide any more clues? It looks VFP is looking up the location of Doctor Watson using the registry. I couldn't find a Microsoft\ErrorReporting path in my XP SP 2 registry, but I did find an ErrorReporting branch with an Exclusion node so it appears an application may be able to explictly exclude itself from Dr Watson reporting by registering itself under the Exclusion branch.

Thank you for your help,

Malcolm
