I'll check in all the items you mentioned, however, I only created a method in the ActiveVFP.prg program within the #DEFINE class as a function... never invoked a call against it or anything... Just a simple

x=1
return x

The recompilation SHOULDN'T have had ANY Problem on the new build, especially since I wasn't calling the new method anyhow. Are you including some GUIDs in the installation? If so, where might you be updating the windows registry. If I rebuilt the .dll or even as an .exe, the typelib information should have retained the existing GUIDs and not choked... The EXE should have retained whatever rights it originally ran under....

I like to know what is involved when invoking any type of COM such as via WWWC, ActiveVFP, FoxWeb, .Net, or other... where user rights are set, access, etc...
