Those who made the initial posts on this thread (the initial announcement) were polite and respectful.

Agreed, I don't like to see some of the rather ugly posts that have gone back and forth - but this all began with a simple announcement by Kevin (which I strongly feel was NOT inappropriate), and subsequent reactions like "you're trying to destroy the community and the product" and references to "back-stabbing".

I submit that you could word the announcement in any politically correct format you wish, and you'd still see the same reactions from a handful of individuals.
