>Mi diccionario traduzca modismo ingles “as long as” o “so long as” como “mientras” en español. Pero para mi no suena bien. Por ejemplo en la frase, “As long as you deliver it on time... something will happen.” En español, “Mientras tu lo entregas puntualmente..algo sucede.” (en mi opinión) no lleva el mismo sentido. ¿Estoy equivocado?

"Siempre que", y especialmente "siempre y cuándo", frecuentemente se usan en este contexto.
Se puede usar "mientras", pero a mí también me suena más a "while", y no tan apropiado (al menos en este contexto).
