Yes, I will have to give that a try. We have not tested with VFP9 - Just VFP8 SPK1.
The problem is how do you detect/debug for a memory leak??

Can you build a simple exe, include the reports there and run this "light" application.
I think, this problem lies somewhere in the application itself. You need to check it very thoroughly for possible memory leak. Do you have a pattern, when the error occurs? I think, this would be very hard to track...
Are you using VFP8? Did you try in VFP9?
