I'm afraid, there is no reliable test for a memory leak. But VFP crashes usually indicate it. Check out, if all your forms close properly, be defensive (e.g. assign objects / object properties to null after you don't need them). You may also try David's Frankenbach utility to check for dangling references. I'm afraid, I can not give you better advice, because it's really hard to trace this kind of errors.

Do you use framework? I think, there are some memory managment problems with MereMortals framework (and may be ComCodeBook). I found them few months ago, but we hadn't looked really deep into that issue...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
