Long but interesting read, that first one.

But still I don't see many people at all sounding any kind of alarm. The ones that do seem to have been successfully negated by the neo-cons.

I'd be very worried if I was a U.S. citizen. Hell, I'm worried about Canada, with this stuff happening down there. The U.S. buys lots of our oil and gas and has a growing need for our water and other resources. These guys operate on the basis that if we won't let them have the stuff on their terms, they'll just come on in and take what they want.

It's all very VERY scary and yet the people are lulled into worrying about the wrong things and sanctioning lots of wrong things too.
