1) VS.Net will get many of the data-centric capabilities of VFP but nothing will change on the VFP side. So this means that we (VFP community) won't gain much from this. This assumes that the 'we' (the VFP community) will remain static and will not be required to grow and learn other tools. Every year more developers find themselves in the position of needing to learn new technologies. If future versions of .NET derive from coveted VFP capabilities, developers
WILL gain from this.
