I agree. I think almost every programmer will find some use for the Project hooks. Even if you don't, you could still buy a commercial product that made use of the hooks. Randy Brown showed a hook he had written that would prompt you for whether you wanted to shut down processes in MTS when you re-built an in-proc server. If you said yes, it would shut down the processes, re-build the server, then start the processes again. Much easier than doing this manually. I can think of dozens of possibilities.
My users haven't been asking for project hooks, but they have been asking for faster turn-around times on development projects. This should help at least a little bit.
