Randy Brown showed a hook he had written that would prompt you for whether you wanted to shut down processes in MTS when you re-built an in-proc server. If you said yes, it would shut down the processes, re-build the server, then start the processes again. Much easier than doing this manually. I can think of dozens of possibilities.

My system has about 10 different projects that produce different EXEs. I will se the project hooks and project controls to compile all my projects at once. This should save me big time.
