When we run our EXE (built in vfp8) from within vfp8, everything is fine. It's when we run it from the OS that the following things are not correct:

1. A checkbox whose caption property in design is set to ="" and is invisible, reverts back to its base class attributes that it inherits from. Clearing either its caption or the caption of its base class checkbox so the properties say (None) fixes it. The fix is not necessary when run from within vfp.

2. A grid needs a refresh in its Activate method when the screen first comes up, run outside of vfp. Inside vfp it's fine.

This Exe works fine in vfp and out when working with vfp6. We're migrating it to vfp8, and we're having this problem. Does this have something to do with the run time library, or anything like that?

Lastly, we can't seem to register vfp8renu.dll on our PCs. Is that possibly the problem? I figured since we're developing completely for the English language so it wouldn't be necessary, but I want to make sure, since we're having the above problems.
