2d is probably sufficient. I cut from the top down, towards the plate. Most people probably do the same.
So would we plot out each bite onto the matrix? Kinda like a shot chart in basketball.
After further review, you need the third dimension. My 2nd son likes cheese enchiladas. He goes in from the top. Then destroys them from the inside out. I find his technique quite bothersome.
