A seek offset error would come up and printing would just stop. No data corruption fortunately. Very reproducable. A crappy printer from Dell. Needless to say but the client will not buy another Dell printer. Dick Day in another post indicated that you can get a driver from Lexmark that will resolve the problem as Dell has never updated that driver and Lexmark is the OEM for that printer.

They replaced the printer with an HP and never have had the problem since. The Dell is now used for very small print jobs if at all. Unfortunately Dell has not issued a new printer driver for that model.
