Hi Hilmar, thanks for the responses...I've been working hard on a huge project and am looking forward to installing in June (Palau), July (Marshall Islands) and August (FSM - Federated States of Micronesia). I've been lurking around here, but have been pretty quiet.

I realize that this question sounded pretty dumb. I didn't state my problem correctly, i think.

I do set up templates for my users for a number of letters. I put bookmarks in them and they can write the text around the values i plop into the bookmark locations.

When run the app and create a document from the template on MY system, it looks like it did when i created it. When i run the app and create a document on someone else's system (different Normal.dot), the completed document is sometimes formatted differently. I'll have to play w/it a bit more....J
