Hi,

Thanks for the input...i also have a lot of jpg's in the document. I'm up to 170 pages (and nowhere near half done) and the file is almost 3 MB. I did split the appendices into separate documents, so i'm going to try to keep the rest of the document in one file.

How're things going for you?

>With older computers, and older versions of Word, I sometimes had trouble with large documents - especially if they had several images. I think that you can reduce problems in this case - putting each chapter in its own sub-document, for example.
