Graphic on page disappear/reappear semi randomly

Thanks for the ideas, Ken.

I normally operate in "Print layout" mode and I often have more than 1 document open at a time.

The images simply disappear and the white space remains in their place. Clicking on the white space shows the border for the graphic, but not the graphic itself.

This has been so only on my newer PC, since about 6 weeks. My other PC does not exhibit the same problem, as far as graphics are concerned.

Regarding the start bar, I nornally don't mind grouping the similar items, and was just explaining how that aggravates the problem.
