>My experience is that the boundries are secret, know only to a handful of UT elite. Kind of like the Knights Templar, their purpose is to protect this secrecy at all cost. We are never to ask the reasons why. You will either get no response, a private message chastising you, rhetoric or asked to stop talking about it. But good luck with it. Maybe you will be... "The One."

In regards to the mentioned "boundaries", I might take the occasion, one more time, to shed some light on that topic.

The rules have been established since a very long time and I don't recall the last time we enhanced that document. The document Terms of use can be found at http://www.levelextreme.com/Term.asp. Usually, you will find related messages marked Sensitive. When this is the case, you can usually see clearly what rule(s) has/have been broken. Note also that we do not bann an individual without a notice first. The same procedures are applied everytime a similar situation happens. It's basically 1-2-3 steps. So, the individuals is aware of the situation and has the opportunity to continue to use this forum with respect to the rules. Otherwise, we just don't have the choice but to proceed on the banisment procedures.

I think this pretty much resumes in summary the way we handle those situations.

Note also that there's no a winner in such situation. If you send a notice to an individual or apply the banisment procedures to an individual, you will always end up with two fan clubs. Those that are against the action(s) will complain and those that are in favor will react to the complains. Basically, once someone starts to make trouble, we all end up in a lower step than where we used to be before.

Most of the individuals using this forum are aware of the proper etiquette, thus the rules, and are ok with them as long as an individual doesn't break one. So, basically, many would simply like that Terms of use document to be a simple placeholder. But, we are to enforce them and do our best to analyze each and everyone of the situations in order to see if specific adjustments and actions need to be done. So, as you know, UT has a lot of messages and it is not always easy to scan each of them. This situation, for exemple, was brought to my attention by a member of our team. In some other situations, it can come from an individual using the forum. If you spot something that we should pay attention to, don't hesitate to let us know. This is always for the good running of the forum and it will surely be appreciated.
