I have developed my grids so far in VFP 8.0 with a Grid Class that I used in VFP 6.0 and they have worked fine.

Eventually I thought I should try building my Grids directly from the Grid Builder in VFP 8.0. When I do this the Grid does not initiate properly. I get the frame of the Screen to come up but everything in the screen is just white space.

I notice when I am developing the screen that there is a vertical black stripe down the left side of the Grid on the inside of the Grid Frame. I have no such black strip when working with my VFP 6.0 Grid Class. I am guessing that this black stripe may be significant but I can find no way of getting rid of it.

If anyone else has come across this, I would be pleased to hear from you.
