This is a meritocracy type of industry. For a moment there I thought you said "mediocracy"?
Rod - I have read some case studies on some really cool heavy duty VFP apps - and some really cool light weight VFP apps. I have reviewed and admired some popular off the shelf VFP apps.
I have never seen one of yours. My assumption is that being in the IT/MS information industry or being an MS/IT prothletizer eats a lot of time. Prosletyzing is no substitute for pushing it to the edge development! I have this strange suspicion that your apps might look like recompiled FPW apps with layers of modal drill down forms. If this is the case - then you have been away from development for too long. If todays app looks and behaves like an app you wrote ten years ago - then your move to the MS/IT ministry was wise indeed.
But like I say - I've seen some really cool VFP solutions - some really embarrasing ones - but I have never seen even a screen shot of one of your proud projects!:-)
