>Yeah, one would think. :) I've got the top of the box in the Column Header band and the bottom of the box in the Column Footer band, but the box is still down and to the left of where it oughta be.

I'm not sure what to tell you ... I have never seen a case where the boxes move out of alignment. When weird things like this happen, I usually delete the items from the report and re-add them in case something was really funky in the record. I have also had strange cases solved by creating a brand new blank report and copying the objects over to the new report little by little until it doesn't work right. That helps me figure out what object was messed up.
