>Full version sales doesn't always mean that they are new to VFP. Our research shows some companies actually buy the full version even when they are eligible for the upgrade version and it is just an issue with their own software purchasing department. While there are always new developers starting to use VFP, there are always some retiring or using some other developer tool like VS. Well over half of the VFP customer base has not yet upgraded to VFP 9.0.Ahh, but we are pushing! Do you know how many times I've said in the Spanish newsgroups, where I answer daily, after offering a response to somebody using VFP6 (and even VFP5!) that they should upgrade instead of using such a dated version. More so, how many times I (and others) have said: "happens that the feature you are asking for (in your VFP6) is already in VFP9 or the problem has been solved in VFP9".
I don't know how effective this is but I do see a lot more people in Latin America starting to ask questions about VFP9.0 instead of VFP6.
