You are a consultant correct? What makes you more valuable. Knowledge of just VFP ? Or knowledge of some combination of VFP, Access, VB, C#, .NET, Java, Perl, T-SQL, XML, Oracle and others.None of the above. You need to expand [your horizons] a bit more. Of course some of us sound and read (and look) like we've tasted everything on the buffet. ANy value I deliver has no relation to a brand, technology or some tangible asset. I, like most outside the "information expansion" industry, just work hard and long in thanks for the oppertunity to ply our trade.
I don't look to yesterday for inspiration. I plod around around Asian and Euro SW company sites to get a sense for the future GUI ideas. There's little I can do with advice from those whose heyday passed along with FPW.
Good luck with your NOT endevors.
Imagination is more important than knowledge
