Can you please elaborate on "anything that rebuilds a cursor closes it"?

If the recordSource of your grid is a cursor called Temp and you do this:

SELECT SomeFields FROM SomeTables WHERE SomeCondition INTO CURSOR Temp

closes the cursor. So does PACKing the cursor.
