It sounds like we can still use the VFP language and take advantage of some .NET things with interop. I think a sort of example of this sort of thing is ActiveVFP which I like for making web applications. It uses ASP.NET and VFP together, yet I can continue to develop as much of the app as I want in VFP using dbfs and the vfp language. Works for me.
