I think a sort of example of this sort of thing is ActiveVFP which I like for making web applications. It uses ASP.NET and VFP together, yet I can continue to develop as much of the app as I want in VFP using dbfs and the vfp language. Works for me.

Of course, I dont think that this is the end of the story :)
I have a lot of VFP apps to maintain and develop!

The good news is that there is strong sings that VFP will be enhanced in some way beyond 9.

The "form" of the next version (if there is a "version") is the big question that remain from the Ken's messages.
If we exchange an apple, we both get an apple.
But if we exchange an idea, we both get 2 ideas, cool...
