To move it, just simply drag and drog (for copy, press CTRL), or alternately, right click and select cut from the shortcut menu, then go to the destination and paste.

I'm getting used to Explorer now, but I'm still grumbling about the lack of a dialog box as File Manager has, and there's no way of knowing whether you're moving or copying without memorizing key functions. This is contrary to the movement toward all-mouse functionality. There should really be a 'Move' on the menu.

The problem with #2 is that we can't use DOS commands any longer with long file names, which is why we're stuck moving to Explorer.

I think maybe one problem is that long file names don't support wild cards...or maybe I should state that the other way around? And that's perhaps why the dialog is not included...
