It appears (based on recent appearances and speeches) that she is attempting to become more 'moderate' in preparation for 2008. In 2003 the National Journal listed her as the 9th most liberal Senator and that changed to 34th in 2004. She will have to stand behind her voting record regardless. Americans for Democratic Action gave her a score of 95 out of 100 for her 2004 Senate voting record. The ADA is the top liberal lobbying organization.
