I have bought the printed book from Amazon, through an american friend, because Amazon does not ship to Romania. I can easily guess why :(. Anyway, I bought it because the biggest issue a VFP programmer has is he has a VFP frame of mind, and .NET is completely different. I was stunned to find that in .NET all classes are inherited from a single class, for example. Overall, from a VFP programmer point of view, Kevin's book is excellent, because it keeps comparing the .NET techniques and concepts with VFP's ones. That makes learning .NET a lot easier. On the other hand, even the book explain both VB and C#, my oppinion is C# was slighly favorised.
