I have just finished TechEd this week and found the future to be amazing and very exciting for us in IT! So when I returned from TechEd I decided to scan the VFP site at MS and see that we have a new "roadmap" which also sounds very interesting. Clearly the future is VS.Net and I guess Sedna is going to help those of us that have been using FoxPro for 15 years like my company which is nice to know.

However, what I find very concerning is that we do not see anything relating to the reports (the FRX's) that people like my company have invested significant funds into. By default we probably offer 300 plus reports in our application then we have hundreds of customers that have also created special unique reports for their own organizations using the tools we have provided. These FRX's are the lifeblood to their company communications both internally and externally with their valued customers. What tool will Microsoft offer to assist us in porting those reports to the new SQL Report Server, Crystal Reports, Etc. If my company was willing to create a tool would MS be willing to provide us in depth assistance in developing that tool which could then be offered to the community?
