IIS is setup as is the one on the workstation where all works fine, including the configuration for aspx and such. There are error events in the log, none which appear to be related to .NET, IIS, Security etc...

I guess it still looks like a reinstall. By the way I tried this some time ago although I did not at that time get the framework. I beleive I relied on VS to install and may have refreshed the framework AFTERWARDS. ???
