The problem only occurs for PDF files created with XFRX and viewed with web mail. It occurs both when I send it programmatically using MAPI mail and manually using Outlook.

If I create the PDF file by printing to PDF writer the file can be viewed in web mail.

If I download the XFRX-created PDF file to Outlook on my computer, I can read it even though I got errors when I tried to read it online in my web mail account.

I checked the Abobe site and it said that the error will sometimes occur in PDF files created by third party applications, which narrows it down to XFRX. I was hoping there might be a simple work-around but if not, I will just have to make sure clients download the file before trying to open it.
