We hooked up with a group of Yanks at the race that shared a hospitality tent with a bunch of Brits. Your boss may have been there. =)
You're right about seafood in the Alps, but there's still good fish ... the trout-like fish that comes out of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) was pretty darn tasty!! I remember having langoustine somewhere too (shrimp or prawns, right?)

>Can't swim in the Alps and fill your boots with delicious (and cheap) seafood. Mmmm, my mouth's watering at the prospect of a large bowl of Moules Mariniere followed by a dish of langoustine, maybe some cocqui St Jacque (scallops to you and me). And their french fries are the best! I gotta go out scuba diving near home and catch me a lobster now!
